Hi! I really liked writing one of my latest posts, “My Recent Emojis”, because it also pushed me to make more facial expressions for my model sheet. With that, I’m turning that into a blog series starting with this post!
Happy (Again)
I’ve probably said the word “happy” many times on my socials, and I’m not the guy who says it lightly. Many friends who have known me since high school and college would describe me as an emo guy, so when I say that I’m happy, trust me: I’m really happy.
One thing that makes me happy is the Foo Fighters’ release of the new song “Your Favorite Toy”, which is also the title of their upcoming album. I always get excited when my favorite band announces a music release; I even wrote about waiting for the new single recently. So far, I have never heard a bad song from them, and “Your Favorite Toy” is no different. Bravo, Foos!
Looking forward to the release of Your Favorite Toy on April 24, 2026. (Gosh, as an occasional toy collector, typing that made me laugh! Damn it, Dave Grohl!)
Worried
While I’m happy for many reasons, I’m also worried about a few things. One thing that worries me: people claiming they speak for God, while their words and actions say otherwise.
I believe in freedom of expression, but when you provide many platforms for hateful people… man, that worries me. It sickens me, even.

Melted
Don’t worry. My face is not really melting. It’s just… hot outside recently.
Gone are the days when I wear jackets even though it’s extremely hot outside. (Parang si Tanggol lang ng Batang Quiapo.) But even if I wear more comfortable clothes, I still sweat a lot. Is the amihan season over already? If it is, nooooooo!
And those are my emotions recently. That’s it, pansit.
