Recently, the Foo Fighters launched a new landing page for their website; it features a Foos fan’s room filled with show posters, production photos, and stickers on the wall. The first time I saw the page, I said, “Wow. This reminds me of the fan sites I’ve seen in high school and college. Nakaka-miss!” I also saw a Taylor Hawkins sticker that made me cry a bit.
Then I hovered on some of the images (gig photos, production photos, and even the guitar with the Backbeat Barbecue ticker), and they’re clickable. After clicking them, I heard samples of their new songs. Since Dave Grohl casually announced during an Australia show last January that they’re done making a record, many fans (including me) could safely assume that the new songs will be from that upcoming album.

Today, February 19, 2026, a few more things were added to the Foos’ landing page: two more album teasers, and a digital clock with 6:00 and “2 / 19” as the time and date. That means tonight, 10:00pm (Manila time), the legendary rock band might release a new song.
Before I saw the Foos’ website update, it had been a pretty normal day for me. I finished a few papers, then enjoyed the quiet while having a cup of hot tea. I realized later that I hadn’t even opened my Spotify app since I woke up. That’s weird, even for me. Then I continued enjoying the quiet when I saw the new Foos’ website update (digital clock and all). Because I was more relaxed, I just clapped out of excitement (though I was freaking out inside). If I had a cup of black coffee while I checked the update, I would’ve jumped out of my seat and headbanged to the song clips!
So, what will happen at 10pm? Will the Foo Fighters release a new single? Maybe the entire new album? I don’t know. But one thing is for sure: I’m ready. I’m f’n ready.
